MCLE Course Shows Attorneys How to 'Make Money While They're Off the Clock'

On Tuesday, December 17 at 1:00 PM ET/ 10:00 AM PT, the Internet Bar Association is presenting "Beyond the Billable Hour: Making Money While You're off the Clock." The live, two hour event is designed to show attorneys how to create new sources of revenue from knowledge and materials they already possess.

One time saver for participants is that they "attend" the event from their own offices. The presentation is a computer enhanced tele-conference with the audio portion delivered via telephone and the visual elements delivered via the Internet.

Attendees will learn to:
  • Leverage the 5 hidden assets every attorney possesses
  • Become a legal industry training provider from their own office
  • Publish and sell books and information on the Internet
  • Partner with other Web sites and information providers
  • Leverage their firm's knowledge assets to sell adjunct products and
    services
  • Leverage the power of informal strategic and multidisciplinary partners

Presenters are:

Michael McChrystal
Professor McChrystal has been a Marquette Law faculty member since 1975. He has served as Chairperson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court Board of Attorneys Professional Competence, Reporter for the Wisconsin Supreme Court Code of Professional Responsibility Review Committee, Reporter for the State Bar Task Force on Tort Reform, and Chair of the Committee on Bar Admission and Lawyer Performance of the Association of American Law Schools.

Edward L. Rholl
Mr Rholl is Director of E-Learning for the Internet Bar. In this position, he is responsible for the production of business development training programs for attorneys and law firms, including online seminars, multimedia-based training and comprehensive e-learning systems.
Rholl began counseling online training companies more than nine years ago when that industry was in its infancy

Attendance fees are based on the number of attendees per firm/location. Each paid attendee receives the 60-page course workbook that accompanies the presentation. CLE is available in multiple jurisdictions. See the Internet Bar website for more details.
