Who says that there is no such thing as a free lunch?

The American Bar Association (ABA) is offering a free trial membership to any lawyer who is not currently a member. It includes membership in the ABA and one Section, subscriptions to the ABA Journal, e-journal, you can check out their free CLE programs, the usual member benefits/discounts, and more.

There's no charge for the trial membership. They don't even ask for your credit card information. In September, they'll send you an invoice for next year's membership. If you feel you have benefittted from the membership you can pay the prevailing rate to renew for another year. If you're not interested you can just write cancel on the invoice and send it back.
