The Journal is
intended to provide a forum for the discussion of scholarly and
professional issues pertaining to prevention, detection, investigation,
prosecution, and management of economic crime, including fraud
and cybercrime, said editors George E. Curtis and Gary R.
Gordon in their editor's message in the inaugural issue. The
focus will be on research findings, the advancement of new theories,
discussions of key legal and legislative issues, reports on significant
advances in technology, and analyses of innovative policies and
practices in the field of economic crime. Curtis is Director
of Economic Crime Programs and Associate Professor of Criminal
Justice at Utica College. Gordon is Executive Director of the
ECII and Professor of Economic Crime Management at Utica College.
