1. FBI Announces 2000 Crime Statistics

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released its Uniform Crime Report
for 2000. The FBI said that there was virtually no change in the Crime Index
in 2000 compared to the 1999 figures.

2. Internet 'Way-Back' Machines Archives World Wide Web

The Internet Archive has made its archive of more than 10 billion web sites
(some dating back to 1996) available to the public.

3. Research Experts Online

At one or more times in their careers, most attorneys will need to locate an
expert for trial or pretrial consultation. Even when attorneys find an expert by
personal referral, thus avoiding a search, they still often face the chore of
conducting due diligence to verify credentials. In her latest "Computer
Counselor" column, Carole Levitt discusses numerous online sources—

JurisNotes.com is an Intellectual property website and e-mail newsletter
devoted to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, trade dress,
