2. Less Vital Record Information Available Free on the Internet

California Governor Gray Davis signed an Executive Order effectively
forcing geneology research site Rootsweb to remove California
birth and death records. Texas and Maine records also removed.

3. Computer Training Best in 'Byte-Size' Chunks

7. NARA Reports on Government Record-Keeping

The National Archive & Records Administration has released the first of three
reports on Government record-keeping. The agency is soliciting public

8. U.S. Supreme Court Accepts E-mail & Fax Filings

After anthrax closed the Supreme Court building in late October, the
court accepted e-mailed or faxed copies of original documents languishing

Research Database--Then Hides It
