2.Search Systems at http://www.searchsystems.net is a meta-site that links to a multitude of public record sites in all fifty states.   While the site was previously free, we find its monthly/annual fee very reasonable when you consider how quickly links can go bad, and how much time you'd spend keeping bookmarks to so many useful public records sites yourself. Using Search Systems, you would click on  "New York" and then "Licenses-Physicians".  (If you are not a Search Systems Direct Pass subscriber, you can access the Web site of the New York State Office of the Professions at http://www.op.nysed.gov/opsearches.htm.) You will be brought to a database of all licensed professionals, not just doctors.  Scroll down to "Doctor (Physicians)" and type in "Stier Eric" (do not use a comma between the first and last name).
