          Google Institutes Longer Passwords for All Apps Users; Increases Minimum from Six to Eight Characters        
 03/15/2011 - 14:42Google has announced a new minimum password length for Google Apps for domains. New or reset user passwords must now be 8 characters in length instead of 6. It does not effect existing passwords. The change applies to all Google Apps (free), Google Apps for Business, Government, and Education domains.
