  • Google Institutes Longer Passwords for All Apps Users; Increases Minimum from Six to Eight Characters

    Google has announced a new minimum password length for Google Apps for domains. New or reset user passwords must now be 8 characters in length instead of 6. It does not effect existing passwords. The change applies to all Google Apps (free), Google Apps for Business, Government, and Education domains. Detailed information is available at the Google Apps Blog.
